5 Practical Tips to Improve Your English Between Lessons

Jon Martin

Whether you're taking Quick Chat sessions or structured lessons, these tips will help you stay active and make steady progress — even on busy days.

1. Speak a little every day
Even 5–10 minutes of speaking practice can make a big difference. Talk to yourself, describe your day, or send voice messages to a language partner. The key is consistency.

2. Use English in your real life
Write your to-do list in English. Change your phone settings. Read menus, signs, or product labels. These small changes help you think in English naturally.

3. Repeat and recycle useful phrases
Don’t just learn new words — reuse the ones you already know. Try to use the same phrase in different situations. This builds fluency and confidence.

4. Record yourself speaking
Choose a topic, speak for 1–2 minutes, and listen back. You’ll notice your pronunciation, grammar, and rhythm — and you’ll hear your progress over time.

5. Make English part of your routine
Watch short videos, read headlines, or listen to a podcast while walking or commuting. You don’t need hours — just a few minutes a day adds up.
