きょうは、にほんの なつの たのしみ「はなび」の にほんごを べんきょうしましょう。
Today, let's learn Japanese words about fireworks, a summer favorite in Japan.
しゃしんの はなびは わたしが とりました。
I took this fireworks phot myself.
1. きょうの ことば / Today's words
・はなび ＝ fireworks
（「はな」flower ＋「ひ」fire で「はなび」です）
・はなびたいかい ＝ fireworks festival
・きれい ＝ beautiful
・どーん ＝ boom!（はなびの おと / the sound of fireworks）
2. つかって みよう / Let's use them
・はなびを みました。
I watched fireworks.
・はなびたいかいに いきたいです。
I want to go to a fireworks festival.
・はなびは とても きれいでした。
The fireworks were very beautiful.
・どーんと おとが しました。
There was a loud boom.
3. ちょっと おもしろい はなし / A fun fact
にほんでは、はなびを みながら「たまやー！」「かぎやー！」と さけぶ ことが あります。
これは、むかしの はなびやさんの なまえです。
In Japan, people sometimes shout "Tamaya!" or "Kagiya!" while watching fireworks. These are the names of famous fireworks makers from long ago.
