Obsolete

(ˈɒbsəliːt)


You can listen to the pronunciation here.


Obsolete means out-of-date or no longer used.


Examples:

I'm not wasting my money on a blu-ray player until DVD players become obsolete.

Cassette tapes were on their way out when I was a child; now they're obsolete.
