Here is a basic summary: Slangs can be created from combination of words or through creating a new meaning of existing words. I grew up in the Bay Area, which is also known as San Francisco & San Jose city. Growing up in the Bay, I naturally learned the slangs that are used in casual way of speaking and how people outside of the Bay Area had their own slangs. Learning slangs are fun and interesting!
