Understand Japanese onomatopoeia through images and learn to use it naturally!
Have you ever wondered how Japanese people express their feelings and describe everyday situations using onomatopoeia?
In this 30-minute lesson, we’ll use learning materials developed by the Japan Foundation (JF), including a video that helps you understand Japanese onomatopoeia through visual images and situations. First, we'll watch a video that helps you visualize the meanings and feelings behind Japanese onomatopoeia. After that, you’ll have the opportunity to put what you learn into practice and make the expressions your own. As a native Japanese speaker, I’ll help you understand how and when to use these expressions naturally in everyday Japanese.
Recommended for: Intermediate learners (A2 and above) who want to enrich their vocabulary and sound more natural when speaking Japanese.
