How This Package Works

Do not worry. We do not do everything at once.

Each session, we attack only ONE part. One day is for grammar. One day is for your word arsenal. One day is for collocations. One day is for phrasal verbs. Step by step. Simple. Clear. No stress.

You will always know exactly what we are doing today, and why.

Who Is This For?

This package is for the determined learner who has the ideas but needs the structural scaffolding to express them clearly. You understand English in context, but your sentences sometimes wobble. Your vocabulary gets the point across, yet it lacks precision. You are ready to stop being "understood" and start being accurate. If your goal is a solid Band 6, this is your launchpad.

What You Will Master

Part 1: Grammar — The Architecture of Clear Communication

You will not memorize endless rules. You will master the six structural pillars that hold Band 6 English together:

  • Time and Tense Mastery: Present Simple vs. Continuous, Past Simple vs. Continuous, and the essential Present Perfect (I have lived here for two years). You will finally stop confusing "I have gone" with "I went."
  • The Conditional Trinity: Zero (If you heat ice, it melts), First (If I study hard, I will pass), and introductory Second Conditional (If I had more time, I would travel).
  • Defining Relative Clauses: Learn to define people, places, and things with precision using who, which, that, where, and whose.
  • The Passive Voice: Master when and why to flip the sentence (The window was broken)—a critical skill for Academic Writing Task 1.
  • Comparative & Superlative Structures: Move beyond "more better" to "significantly more efficient than" and "by far the most compelling argument."
  • Countable vs. Uncountable Nouns: End the confusion between many/much, a few/a little, and fewer/less once and for all.

Part 2: Vocabulary — The 50–100 Word Arsenal

Forget memorizing thousands of random words. You will master a curated bank of 50 to 100 high-leverage items—the exact words, collocations, and phrases that unlock Band 6 answers. Your teacher will ask you questions that force you to use them. No synonyms. No escape.

How it works: Your teacher will corner you with questions designed so you must deploy these words. Try to dodge them, and you will be stopped and made to rebuild your answer. After 20 forced outputs, these words stop feeling memorized and start feeling owned.

Part 3: Collocations — Sound Natural from Day One

Native speakers do not think word-by-word; they think in chunks. You will internalize the most essential collocations that instantly make your English sound more natural:

  • Make a decision, do homework, take responsibility, have a conversation, get a job.
  • Heavy rain, strong coffee, fast food, do well, interested in, depend on.
  • A wide range of, a large number of, play an important role in.

Part 4: Phrasal Verbs — The Everyday Engine

Phrasal verbs terrify most students. We make them systematic. You will master 25 core phrasal verbs—separable and inseparable—that appear constantly in native speech and IELTS Listening:

  • Turn up, give up, look after, find out, put off, take off, get on with, run out of, set up, break down.

You will learn the golden rule: "Turn the music up" works, but "Turn up it" does not.

Part 5: Idioms — Sprinkle, Don't Drown

At Band 6, idioms are garnish, not the main dish. You will learn 10–15 safe, high-frequency idioms that impress without risking error:

  • A piece of cake, once in a blue moon, break the ice, hit the books, the best of both worlds, a blessing in disguise.

You will learn when to use them—primarily in Speaking Part 1 and informal writing contexts.

Part 6: The Band 6 Toolkit — Extra Skills That Push You Over the Line

  • Cohesion & Linking: Master the logical glue—and, but, because, so, although, however, therefore, in addition, for example.
  • Opinion Formulas: Lock in fixed, flawless phrases for Speaking and Writing: In my opinion, I believe that, From my point of view, It seems to me that, I am convinced that.
  • Error Detection Drills: Weekly "Spot the Mistake" exercises targeting the top 20 errors that keep Band 5.5 students from reaching Band 6.
