Have you ever wished to write a love story? Do you think you would be a great sci-fi writer? Your idea for a thriller is better than most you've read and seen around?
Every genre in fiction comes with its own language, tropes and rules, and for a creative writer interested in a genre is important to know which they are, what they can do for him, and when is the moment to forget them.
Recommended for students who already have a grounding in creative writing, this course will introduce you to the literary genre theory, before focusing on the genre or genres of your specific interest, with historical profiles, analysis of techniques and contents, readings and exercises.
