This is a beginning course for learning Japanese.

I use Genki textbook and my original PPT teaching material to teach you practical Japanese with sharing screan.

In my lesson, speaking, listening, and talking are important than writing. I teach new vocaburary and grammars, and let you practice how to use it. Also we can discuss our life, hobbies, and any topics with the new grammars.

Genki textbook is good for beginners. The difference from Minna no Nihongo which is popular, is that the conversation and learning is much more casual. It is easy to follow and understand for foreigners.

I had a trial lesson with Tomoe sensei for the first time today, and I had a really good time talking with her. We had some issues with video and sharing screens so most of the lesson was spent having a conversation instead. I was able to learn some new vocabulary and Tomoe sensei also corrected me ...

I had a trial lesson with Tomoe sensei for the first time today, and I had a really good time talking with her. We had some issues with video and sharing screens so most of the lesson was spent having a conversation instead. I was able to learn some new vocabulary and Tomoe sensei also corrected me when I made any mistakes which was helpful. Towards the end of the lesson we were able to share screens and I got an idea of what a textbook lesson with her would be like and it seemed like a very detailed and professional lesson plan so I am interested in having another lesson with her again soon to learn more. I also really appreciated then even though the lesson was meant to be for only 25 minutes she was kind enough to extend it for a few more minutes because of our connection problems at the beginning. She was very friendly and was also very easy to talk to. I recommend other people to choose to have a lesson with her too. Thank you very much Tomoe sensei and see you again soon!
