Lesson Pack Details

This is a 5-lesson pack. You will be issued 4 “coupons” when the first request is confirmed. You will be able to use these coupons for subsequent requests in the pack. Please note that all requests related to this pack must be taken within 30 days of the first lesson date.

Lessons should generally be booked chronologically, meaning that the second lesson should be booked after the first, and so on.

This 5-lesson IELTS Writing pack is designed to improve your score fast by focusing on what examiners reward: clear structure, strong task response, logical paragraphs, and accurate high-band language. You won’t just get corrections; you’ll learn a repeatable system.

What happens in each lesson (5 lessons)

Lesson 1 — Task 1 Overview + Structure (the biggest band booster)

  • Learn the Task 1 template: intro + overview + key comparisons
  • How to write a strong overview (what most students miss)
  • Select the right data (avoid describing everything)
  • Practice: write a Task 1 plan + key sentences

Lesson 2 — Task 1 High-Band Language (comparisons & trends)

  • Trend language: rise/fall/peak/remain stable + precision
  • Comparatives + grouping: biggest differences, key patterns
  • Grammar accuracy focus: articles, plurals, prepositions
  • Mini Task 1 writing + feedback + rewrite

Lesson 3 — Task 2 Essay Structures (plan fast, write clearly)

  • Choose the right structure: opinion / discuss / problem-solution / advantages-disadvantages
  • Strong introductions + thesis statements
  • Paragraph method: topic sentence → explanation → example → mini conclusion
  • Plan a Task 2 together + write one strong body paragraph

Lesson 4 — Band 7+ Upgrades (cohesion + grammar range + academic tone)

  • Cohesion: referencing, linking, paragraph flow (not just “Moreover”)
  • Grammar range: complex sentences used naturally
  • Academic tone: avoid informal words, use precise verbs
  • Rewrite session: upgrade your writing to band 7+ style

Lesson 5 — Timed Writing + Final Feedback Plan

  • Timed Task 2 (and Task 1 if time allows)
  • Examiner-style feedback: Task Response, Coherence, Lexical, Grammar
  • Your personal “Top 10 fixes” list
  • A 7–14 day plan: exactly what to practise daily before the test

Great for

Students who don’t know what to write, go off-topic, repeat ideas, or lose marks for grammar.

Homework

Light but effective: short planning drills + rewriting 5–10 key sentences (high impact).

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

Requests will be confirmed immdiately expect the first one of a pack. If confirmed immediately, the policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply.
