Minecraft English Free Talk: Let's Talk About Minecraft!
課程介紹
This is a free-talk English class for children who enjoy Minecraft and want to practice English conversation without playing the game during class.
Rather than following a traditional, structured English lesson, we'll use your child's interest in Minecraft to encourage natural conversation. We can talk about favorite mobs, biomes, builds, updates, adventures, items, Minecraft memories, or whatever Minecraft topics your child is excited about!
The conversation can naturally follow your child's interests while giving them opportunities to practice speaking, listening, describing things, answering and asking questions, sharing opinions, and expressing their ideas in English.
I'll adjust our conversation to your child's English level and provide friendly guidance when needed. If they're unsure how to say something, can't remember a word, or have difficulty expressing an idea in English, I'll help them along the way.
There are no strict scripts, worksheets, or vocabulary lists. The goal is to give students a relaxed and enjoyable environment where they can use and practice the English they already know while learning naturally through conversation.
Students do not need access to Minecraft for this lesson. We will talk about Minecraft, but we will not play the game together.
⊹ Learning through Minecraft Conversation ⊹
Even without playing the game, a familiar and enjoyable topic can give students plenty of reasons to communicate! During our conversations, students can practice:
Speaking & communication - Sharing thoughts, explaining ideas, asking questions, and communicating what they want to say.
Listening comprehension - Listening to questions and responses and following the natural flow of a conversation.
Descriptive language - Describing builds, mobs, biomes, adventures, items, and other parts of Minecraft.
Vocabulary - Encountering and using English words naturally as they become relevant to the conversation.
Answering & asking questions - Practicing both responding to another person and keeping a conversation going with questions of their own.
Expressing opinions - Talking about favorites, preferences, likes and dislikes, and explaining why they feel a certain way.
Conversation skills - Practicing turn-taking, staying engaged with another speaker, changing topics naturally, and expanding on ideas.
Confidence using English - Having opportunities to communicate without worrying about making every sentence perfect. Mistakes are okay!

The trial gives us the opportunity to meet, talk about Minecraft, and see if we're a good fit before booking a full lesson.
Just like the full 25-minute lesson, the trial is conversation-only and does not involve playing Minecraft together.

- Minecraft is not played in this class.
- Students are required to have cameras on unless otherwise given permission not to.
- All students must have a guardian present for the first 5 minutes of the lesson in case of technical difficulties.
