Reading for the joy of it...

Do you love to read? Read aloud? I do. Reading aloud is also a wonderful way of hearing yourself pronounce old and new words without feeling anxious of being understood. It is one of the best ways of mastering a new language.
Tell me what kinds of books you would like to read or I can choose one I think you might like. Book Club with me is relaxing and fun.
Will it be a mystery? That's my favourite. And travel novels.
In our sessions, we'll draw minds into English speaking and reading mode with short recaps of our week or weekend - anything you want to share. After five to ten minutes of chatting, we will jump into reading: taking turns, discovering new words, reading grammar patterns. There will be time to share our thoughts on what we have read.
Sessions will be relaxing. We will read, learn new words, practice pronunciation and laugh together. These four all help with remembering words, how they are used and sound.
Here are some of the books you may enjoy:
Fantastic Mr Fox. George's Marvellous Medicine. Danny Champion of The World. Boy. The Magic Finger. Matilda. These are books by Roald Dahl. They are very amusing.
Charlotte's Web by EB White
Winnie The Pooh by A.A. Milne
Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Heidi by Johanna Spyri
