A conversational class where we will discuss science-themed topics. This lesson will focus on commonly used terms and help you with comprehension when reading science articles. You will discover the wonders of science and how it relates to your life.

In this lesson, you will learn science vocabulary for English language learners, which is important to help you understand key words and how to use them in science. Memorizing vocabulary lists isn’t that helpful. This lesson is designed to help you learn key scientific terms and concepts in context. I use a variety of teaching methods such as visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-life examples to help you understand the meaning of scientific terms and how to use them correctly.
You will explore topics such as matter, energy, forces, motion, life, earth and space. You will also develop skills such as inquiry, problem-solving, communication and collaboration. The class will be fun and interactive, with a variety of activities, resources, and assessments that will hopefully spark your curiosity and creativity.
Lesson 3 focuses on common laboratory instruments and tools and their names.
