Lesson Pack Details

This is a 5-lesson pack. You will be issued 4 “coupons” when the first request is confirmed. You will be able to use these coupons for subsequent requests in the pack. Please note that all requests related to this pack must be taken within 30 days of the first lesson date.

Lessons should generally be booked chronologically, meaning that the second lesson should be booked after the first, and so on.

In this 5-lesson IELTS Reading pack, you’ll learn how to finish on time and answer with confidence using smart strategy + accuracy (not guessing). We focus on the exact skills that increase your score quickly: locating answers fast, avoiding traps, and understanding meaning without translating.

What happens in each lesson (5 lessons)

Lesson 1 — Reading Map + Timing System (foundation)

  • Quick diagnostic to identify your weak question types
  • Time rules: how long per passage + when to move on
  • “Reading map” skill: spotting paragraph purpose (main idea vs detail)
  • Practice set + correction: traps, keywords, and why wrong answers look attractive
 

Lesson 2 — Skimming/Scanning + Locate Answers Fast

  • Skim for structure (not every word)
  • Scan for synonyms (IELTS rarely repeats the same word)
  • Keyword mapping: where the answer must be in the text
  • Timed drills: get faster without losing accuracy
 

Lesson 3 — TFNG & Matching Headings Mastery (trap patterns)

  • TFNG logic rules (what counts as NOT GIVEN vs FALSE)
  • Headings strategy: “topic sentence + paragraph function”
  • Common traps: extreme words, half-true statements, wrong reference
  • Intensive practice + correction + your personal TFNG checklist
 

Lesson 4 — Matching Information + Inference + Vocabulary from Context

  • Matching info: how to track references (this/that/they/it)
  • Inference questions: what is implied (tone + intention)
  • Vocabulary without translation: guess meaning from context + word family clues
  • Practice set + speed improvements
 

Lesson 5 — Full Section Practice + Personal Speed Plan

  • Timed mini-mock (or one full passage set depending on your level)
  • Review: your repeated mistakes and how to stop them
  • Final test-day strategy: order of questions + pacing
  • A clear “Week Plan” for daily speed drills
 

Great for

Students who run out of time, feel lost in long passages, or struggle with TFNG/headings.

Homework

Short timed drills (10–15 minutes) + “mistake log” (why wrong → what to do next time).

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

Requests will be confirmed immdiately expect the first one of a pack. If confirmed immediately, the policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply.
