Let's discuss articles from BBC news , Breaking news English, and some other useful websites. I will give you the link of the article beforehand to give you ample preparation time. Below is the lesson flow for article reading:
Part 1 - New vocabulary words and expressions
- I will introduce new and unfamiliar words before reading the article.
Part 2 - Article reading
- I will let you read the article per paragraph and I will take note of the mispronounced words you committed.
- We'll discuss the paragraph and I will ask you comprehension question to check your understanding.
Part 3 - Viewpoint Discussion
- Series of questions will be asked regarding the article.
- You are free to express your opinions regarding the topic.
I will provide articles based on your level. I will give you two links - articles for Beginner and Intermediate level. IF there is an article which you wanted to discuss or share, feel free to inform me. :)
