☕ Main Conversation — “If I Were You…”

Your friend isn’t happy with their job. They earn good money, but they are stressed, bored and have no free time.

Student A = the person with the problem.
Student B = the friend giving advice.

Example:

A: I’m really unhappy at work. I don’t know what to do.

B: If I were you, I’d look for another job.

A: But what if I can’t find anything?

B: If I were you, I’d start looking while keeping your current job.

A: What would you do if you were in my situation?

B: I’d probably take a few months off and think about what I really want.
