This lesson introduces traditional Japanese festivals and their music according to season, including conventional annual events.
You can gain knowledge through PDF files and videos. Let’s enjoy the lively mood of the festivals and music: kagura (music and dance for God) and ohayashi (festival music).
Please relax and participate in the lesson while preparing for your trip. Let's have fun talking about the festival together!

Winter festivals from December to February: Takachiho no Yokagura and New Year’s events.
Spring festivals from March to April: Omizutori and Hinamatsuri.
