Real time English, listening and speaking conversation practice. Play a character loosely based on yourself and get to know the person sitting next to you.
Description
Although this conversation practice has a setting and a premise, it is esentialy a simulation of a real life encounter between two people waiting for their respective flights. The idea here is for the student to not only answer questions but also to ask them as in a real life encounter.
The questions at times will relate to eachother, eg:
where are you flying to?
have you been there before?
where will you be staying?
Sometimes a question will change the subject completely, this helps to keep longer conversations stimulating and fresh, eg:
Have you noticed that the price of petrol seems to be going down at last?
Yes I have, I think it is an indication that the war in Iran is coming to an end.
Teacher can carry or steer the conversation when necessary. Teacher will adapt the lesson to suit your level.
Final 15 minutes is for feedback and development.
