Learn to invite friends, make plans, and accept or refuse invitations. Through role-plays, you’ll practice real-life situations and by the end, confidently invite a native friend out and enjoy your time together.

Would you like to confidently invite a native English speaker to sing karaoke with you? Or how about inviting them to see the autumn leaves? In this lesson, we'll look at the language you need to invite friends to do fun activities with you.
For example:
Ben: Hi, Anne! Are you free on Saturday?
Anne: Yes, I'll be free all day on Saturday.
Ben: Great! Would you like to see a movie?
Anne then has the option to accept (say "yes") or reject(say "no") the invitation if she'd prefer to do something else. We'll look at various ways of accepting and rejecting invitations as well as offering alternative plans. We'll go through a few dialogues which I will provide and then we'll try some free practice.
