Talking on the telephone
課程介紹
Many speakers of English as a second language hate speaking on the telephone using English!
In ths class we will take this apprehension away through a series of enjoyable, interactive exercises and role play designed to improve your confidence when communicating by telephone as well as improving your listening and speaking.
This is a scanrio based class involving lots of verbal commuication and interaction.
Examples below:
1. Telephone your friend. Try to persuade him / her to go on holiday to Thailand with you.
Your friend will phone you. Try to persuade him / her to go on holiday with you to London.
2. You are a boss. Phone your employee to find out why he / she is not at work today.
You are at home. You do not want to work today. Your boss will phone you.
3. Phone your friend. Tell him / her that you saw their wife / husband with someone else last night.
Your friend has some interesting information for you.
