This lesson is perfect for you if you have completed my "Basic Afrikaans for the Curious" lesson and want to build your Afrikaans repertoire! We will learn useful sentences and vocabulary that you can use when chatting to Afrikaans speakers.

After this lesson, you will be able to say and type basic useful phrases and vocabulary while chatting online in Afrikaans!
The lesson will look like this:
1. Reviewing Greetings and Self-Introduction
We begin our lesson by reviewing the Afrikaans greetings and our Afrikaans self-introductions that we learned in our first lesson. I will introduce myself first, and then you will introduce yourself!
2. Basic Vocabulary with Pictures
Next, we will learn new basic Afrikaans vocabulary using illustrative pictures with each word. We will repeat the vocabulary words a few times for proper pronunciation.
3. Useful Phrases for Chatting Online
Here, we will learn useful phrases that you can use when chatting to an Afrikaans speaker online. The sentences will contain the vocabulary we learned in this lesson as well as the first lesson.
4. Short Dialogue
Finally, we will read and practice a short dialogue together that brings together all of the sentences and vocabulary that we have learned!
