Have you ever said something in Korean and wondered,

“Would a Korean person actually say it this way?”

Korean and Japanese have many similarities, but directly translating a Japanese expression into Korean can sometimes sound slightly unnatural, even when the meaning is clear.

Based on my experience regularly communicating with Japanese visitors, we’ll practice expressions that Japanese learners may find confusing and more natural ways to say them in Korean.

I’ll give you different situations and questions, and you can first try expressing yourself using the Korean you already know.

Then we’ll look at how Korean speakers might express the same idea more naturally in everyday conversation.

Mistakes are completely fine! 😊
Rather than focusing on what is “wrong,” this lesson focuses on learning one more natural way to express yourself each time.

Recommended for students who know textbook Korean but want to sound more natural in real conversations.
