You have something to say. Let’s find the French for it!
Perhaps you’d like to describe your weekend, share an opinion or tell a story without stopping to translate every sentence. This lesson gives you time to practise, with someone there to listen and help.
Bring a topic you enjoy—or let me choose a few questions to get us started.
Is this lesson for you?
This lesson suits adult learners who can already introduce themselves and make simple sentences in French.
You’re welcome if you:
• Understand some French but hesitate when speaking.
• Want more opportunities to use the vocabulary you know.
• Would like help with pronunciation and everyday expressions.
• Enjoy learning grammar through conversation and practical examples.
If you’re starting French from zero, my beginner lesson will offer a more guided starting point.
What will we do?
We’ll begin with a short warm-up, then explore a topic suited to your interests and level. We might talk about daily life, music, films, food, travel or work. A picture or short prompt can help us get the conversation going.
During our conversation, I’ll help you:
• Find words and expressions for your ideas.
• Notice and practise useful grammar.
• Improve pronunciation where it affects clarity.
• Try a more natural way to phrase something.
We’ll finish by reviewing a few useful expressions and corrections. I’ll share brief notes in the lesson chat so you have something to practise afterward.
Will you correct every mistake?
You’ll have space to finish your thoughts. I’ll focus on useful corrections, pausing when an explanation would help and saving others until a natural break.
If you prefer more frequent corrections, please tell me!
What should you prepare?
No special preparation or textbook is needed. If you have a topic, question or situation you’d like to practise, send me a short message when booking.
For the trial, we’ll get acquainted, have a short conversation and discuss what you’d like to work on.
