Can you learn English by listening to songs?
Yes! Sometimes it's easier to learn English with music!
When you listen to music and sing, it helps you remember new words, and it helps improve your speed.
What can you learn from songs?
- You can learn new vocabulary and phrases
- You can improve your listening
- You can understand more about foreign cultures
- You can learn everyday English and understand how native speaker use real English!
What song will we listen to?
I can choose a song for you according to your English level
OR
You can request a song or singer.
Lesson Content
In each lesson we will:
- Understand the key word or phrase contained in the song
- Talk about the singer or band, and have a fun quiz game
- Do some listening practice using the songs
Example Lesson:
- Greeting and introduction (2 minutes)
- Listen to the song one time together (I will send you a link to the song on YouTube using the Skype chat) (3 minutes)
- Talk about the song (5 minutes)
- Understand the key word / phrase in this song (10 minutes)
----> What does it mean? How can we use it in a sentence?
- Listening practice (5 minutes)
- Final discussion and feedback (5 minutes)
