In English, some sound within words become weaker, and neighboring sound sometimes blend together.
In Japanese, however, we generally pronounce each mora(a unit of sound) clearly and pay attention to its length.
For example, compare obasan(aunt) and obaasan (grandmother), if you make the sound "ba"one mora longer, the meaning change.
So, try to pronounce each sound clearly and pay attention to the length of each sound. This will help you improve your Japanese in the long run.
I will also teach you polite Japanese, which you can use when speaking to your boss at work. Or casual Japanese , including the " ___んです" form, which you can use with your family and close friends, if you want.
