Let’s learn Zen words
Zen is the one of the sects of Buddhism. Zen teaches that enlightenment can be achieved through strict mental and physical practices. It used to be popular among samurai and influenced various Japanese traditions such as the tea ceremony, flower arrangement and sumie, indian-ink drawing. Nowadays Zen teaching attracts many people from all over the world. Let’s learn some Zen words in simple Japanese.
禅の言葉（ことば）を学ぼう
禅は仏教（ぶっきょう）の宗派（しゅうは）の一つです。禅は精神的（せいしんてき）、肉体的（にくたいてき）な厳しい訓練（くんれん）によって悟りに到達（とうたつ）できると教えます。禅はかつては侍の間に広まり、また、茶道（さどう）、生け花、墨絵（すみえ）など様々（さまざま）な日本の伝統文化（でんとうぶんか）に影響（えいきょう）を与えました。現在（げんざい）、禅の教えは世界中（せかいじゅう）の多くの人に興味（きょうみ）を持たれています。禅の言葉を簡単（かんたん）な日本語で学んでみませんか。
