Build your vocabulary by reading and discussing breaking news!
Breaking News English is a website that hosts a variety of different news articles in English about events happening in the world. The articles come in different levels of difficulty, which is extremely useful for gauging how much your reading comprehension has improved. We will study together, focus on building your vocabulary and reading speed.
After the reading section, we will work on your speaking and conversational skills. I can help you with your pronunciation of the English words as well. By discussing the article afterwards you will get an opportunity to share your opinion of the reading.
This lesson is geared towards upper intermediate up to advanced level English speakers, and people with an interest in news like myself:)
