Understanding Korean News

1) Students will be able to watch and understand the contents of Korean news.
2) Students will be able to understand the current affairs of South Korea from the news.

Korean level: Intermediate to advanced-level students
3. Study time
1 hour
4. Learning method
1) The teacher will provide students with Korean news videos (from news channels).
2) Students will watch the Korean news, summarize it, and present their impressions.
3) The teacher will provide students with the full text of the news article.
4) The teacher and student will discuss the content of the news with each other
The teacher will explain the context of the various content within the news story.
5) The teacher and student will share their impressions of the news again, if necessary.
5. Special notes
The teacher will prepare Korean news stories that are useful to you as a student, but other news stories can be used upon request by the student.
