【From the 2nd time】Voice Techniques; Melismatic Singing/Expressions Training

This lesson is purely for the improvement / new learning of the vocal techniques,  

so highly-motivated, honest learners only! Recommended for upper to professional level students but always welcome for those who;

  • Keen to obtain singing techniques
  • At least able to pick melodies by listening to songs
  • Able to practice EVERY DAY even if it’s 10mins (It is ESSENTIAL for you to get better slightly and see the difference with repetitive practicing)
  • Highly motivated to improve the level of singing skills, open to honest feedback, and able to apply it positively and move forward
In the first lesson, we’ll go over what you’d like to master, confirm your goals, check your vocal range, and decide on a song to work on. (Since we’ll need to choose a song that includes several melisma techniques, I may suggest or arrange one for you if needed.)

<What you’ll need & things to keep in mind before the lesson>

•I don’t use sheet music in either the trial or regular lessons 

— the focus is on training your ear and building technique. At the end of each lesson, 

I’ll let you know which part of the song we’ll work on next, and I’ll share the lyrics and audio for the next lesson at that time. For your first lesson, please let me know in advance the name of the song and artist you’ll be performing.

 

•Please avoid drinking alcohol or doing anything that might strain your throat the day before the lesson. Let’s keep your voice in the best condition possible!

 

•Since I’ll sometimes give you feedback on things like pronunciation or melisma by observing your mouth and throat movements, it’s not allowed to turn the camera off for any of my vocal lessons.

 

•Recording or filming the lesson isn’t allowed. Please take notes during the lesson, especially about any assignments or things to review for next time.
