For intermediate–advanced learners who want to stay informed and build real-world English skills at the same time. Each lesson centers on a current news story (business, tech, culture, science — no politics), giving you practice with topics that actually matter, not recycled textbook scenarios.
Best for: Learners ready to express and defend opinions in English on real-world issues.
Topics: a current news story per session, topic-specific vocabulary, summarizing/paraphrasing, opinion-giving, agreeing/disagreeing, and discussing implications.
Skills: advanced vocabulary, paraphrasing, persuasive language, listening comprehension, and confidence discussing unfamiliar topics on the spot.
How I teach: You skim a short article before or during the lesson, then we discuss it together — I introduce vocabulary in context, ask guiding questions, and push you deeper with follow-ups. Corrections happen in real time so you can immediately try again with better language.
