Small Talk Mastery: Confident Conversations for Everyday Life
Struggle with "what do I say next?" in casual conversations? This lesson helps intermediate–advanced English learners sound natural in everyday small talk — with coworkers, strangers, at parties, or while traveling.
Topics: weather & commute chat, weekend/hobby talk, workplace small talk, compliments & pleasantries, reacting naturally, exiting conversations gracefully, and cultural norms around small talk.
Skills: natural rhythm and pacing, backchanneling ("Oh really?", "No way!"), follow-up questions, tone/register, and spontaneous speaking confidence.
How I teach: Roleplay-based and conversation-first — minimal lecture, maximum speaking time. I model natural phrasing, then have you practice varied real-life scenarios with real-time feedback, so nothing feels scripted or memorized.
Best for: Intermediate to advanced learners who can already talk, but want to sound more natural and confident in unplanned, everyday conversations.
