Introductory first lesson for B1/B2 learners

LESSON OVERVIEW
The main objectives of this first lesson with new students are to:
- talk about English learning experiences;
- review useful vocabulary;
- listen to a podcast excerpt about English.
In this lesson, students are tested in all four skills (listening, speaking, writing and reading), as well as vocabulary and grammar. Students talk about the English language and review various phrases for the discussion (e.g. spend time learning, to be able to, as important as). They listen to part of a podcast and discuss some data. Students also give their opinion and talk about their expectations, goals and preferences for their English course.
