This is for people who would like to work through a textbook together with a teacher in order to help improve their grammar.


★ What Kind of Students Take This Class ? ★ 
  • I want to overcome my grammar weaknesses.
  • I want you to answer my question.
  • I want you to check my pronunciation when reading.
  • I want you to support me because I get confused.
  • I want the English text to be explained in Japanese or simple English.
 
★ Class Pace ★
  • We will decide together what you wish to focus on and what your goals are. Once that has been established we will proceed with the lesson.
  • Once a grammar point has been explained, we can solve the question problems together in the class, or you can try to do them yourself as homework.
  • Let's discuss the best way for you to study.
  • The class pace will go according to the student's level, situation, and lesson time.
 
★ Before lesson ★
  1. Solve any questions before the lesson starts and check your answers. Do not worry if you get anything wrong because we will go through the answers together and clear up any misunderstandings you may have.
  2. Make a note of any questions you have for the teacher.
  3. Read out aloud a few times at your own pace.
 
★ During lesson ★ 
  1. The topic/grammar/tense will be introduced.
  2. Explanation of when to use the grammar/tense.
  3. We will look at sentence examples.
  4. Improve your speaking skills and pronunciation.
  5. Do speaking exercises.
  6. Ask me as many questions as you want.
 
★ After lesson ★ 
  1. Review and repeat practice a few times. (x3)
  2. Don't look at anything and repeat practice. (x3)
  3. Practice speaking at normal speed. (x10) 
  4. Practice speaking at double speed. (x10)
 
★ Next lesson ★
