    0:00–0:05 | Welcome & Warm-Up Discussion

    • Greet students by name.

    • Ask a quick question:
      👉 “How do you usually introduce yourself in a business meeting?”

    • Let a few students respond verbally or in the chat box.

    • Highlight the difference between informal and professional introductions.

    0:05–0:15 | Vocabulary & Phrases: Business Introductions

    Use a shared screen or slides to present:

    • “Hello, my name is [Name]. I’m a [Job Title] at [Company].”

    • “I’ve been working in [industry] for [number] years.”

    • “I’m responsible for [department/tasks].”

    • “Nice to meet you. I look forward to working with you.”

    • “May I ask what you do at your company?”

    ✅ Students repeat after you.
    ✅ Call on a few students to say a short intro with their job title and company.

    0:15–0:25 | Listening Practice

    Play or read a short dialogue of two professionals meeting for the first time online.

    Example Dialogue:
    Alex: “Hi, I’m Alex Chen. I’m a project manager at Global Tech.”
    Maria: “Nice to meet you, Alex. I’m Maria, a sales executive with Green Solutions. What do you focus on at Global Tech?”
    Alex: “Mainly B2B projects in Europe. What about you?”
    Maria: “I handle client relationships in the APAC region.”

    👉 Task: Ask students comprehension questions:

    • What does Alex do?

    • What region does Maria handle?

    • What polite phrase did they use?

    0:25–0:40 | Guided Speaking Practice

    On screen, display a structure for a professional self-introduction:

    1. Name

    2. Job Title

    3. Company

    4. Responsibilities

    5. Optional: Years of experience, location, or industry

    🎯 Breakout Room Task (or Pair Work):

    • In pairs, students introduce themselves professionally.

    • Then ask each other:

      • “What are your main responsibilities?”

      • “How long have you been in your current role?”

    • Monitor breakout rooms and give feedback when they return.

    Teach key polite questions and responses for starting a conversation online:

    • “How’s business these days?”

    • “Have you worked with our team before?”

    • “Is this your first time joining this kind of meeting?”

    • “What are your expectations for today?”

    🎤 Quick Pair Practice: Students ask each other 1–2 questions from the screen using breakout rooms or open mic.

    Task: Students take turns introducing themselves to the group as if they're in a professional online networking event.
