Meeting Someone New | Introductions & Small Talk

Want to feel more confident when meeting someone new in English? 🌟
This 25-minute speaking lesson is designed for teens and adults aged 13+ who want practical English they can use in real-life conversations.
We will practise introducing yourself and talking naturally about:
• Where you are from
• Work or studies
• Hobbies and interests
• Daily life
• Weekend plans
You will practise useful questions such as:
“Where are you from?”
“What do you do?”
“What do you enjoy doing in your free time?”
“What are you doing this weekend?”
“How about you?”
You will also learn how to give longer answers, respond naturally, ask follow-up questions, and keep the conversation flowing instead of stopping after one response.
During the lesson, I will guide you through the conversation, gently correct important pronunciation and grammar mistakes, and introduce useful expressions that can help your English sound more natural.
We will finish with a short “Meet Someone New” role-play, where you will introduce yourself, ask questions, respond naturally, and keep the conversation going independently.
By the end of the lesson, you will be better prepared to introduce yourself, make small talk, and communicate confidently in everyday English situations.
