Hi there! My name is Sylwia. I am Polish. Poland is located in the center of Europe, next to Germany. I have been living in Japan for one year now, and I am moving back to Poland in April 2024. I study Japanese, but also other languages like Korean and Russian. Japan is one of my beloved countries, and definitely I will be coming back here.
I adore Japanese culture and cuisine, especially udon and yakitori. I love trips to Sushiro. I have experience teaching English to Japanese students online. I wish to exchange English, Polish, and Japanese culture and language. I have traveled to many places in Japan, including Hakone, Kamakura, Yokohama, and others. During my time here, I adopted a Japanese Akita dog named Hakuro. I also have a cat named Hermes; you might see them in the background one day! Since I love animals I am enrolling in school in Poland this year. Over the next two years, I will be studying to become a veterinary technician. After graduating from school, I want to work in an English-speaking country or in Japan.
In my spare time, baking cakes and singing are my favorite activities. I have even created two songs myself. Recently, I achieved a TEFL certificate, which greatly improved my teaching skills and knowledge. Let's exchange our cultures and interests while learning English in a friendly environment! Additionally, I can offer conversation practice in Polish if you're interested.
