I'm Hein, your friendly Korean tutor!

"I'm studying Korean, but I rarely get the chance to actually speak it." "I’m a little embarrassed about making mistakes, so speaking feels intimidating."

Have you ever felt this way while learning Korean? If so, you're in the right place! In my lessons, I believe that getting comfortable speaking out loud is way more important than being perfect. Let’s learn Korean together in a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere—just like chatting with a friend on the phone!

I’m from Incheon, Korea (home to our international airport!), and my lessons focus on the natural, standard Korean that people actually use in everyday life. We won't just stick to formal textbook phrases; I'll also teach you the trendy, natural expressions and speaking styles that Koreans in their 20s use every day.

Do you ever get frustrated while studying? I have studied both Japanese and English, mostly through self-study, so I completely understand the frustration of knowing what you want to say but not being able to find the words. I also know the fear of making mistakes! If you ever get stuck, don't worry—that's completely okay. Feel free to ask me about unfamiliar words or expressions in Japanese or English.

Let's talk about our interests! My hobbies are traveling and cooking! I’m a huge fan of Japan and have visited over 20 times. I’ve traveled to Tokyo, Shizuoka, Chiba, Osaka, Kyoto, and Fukuoka, and I’m always looking for new places to explore. I love chatting about Japanese culture and daily life, and I'd love to share all about Korean culture with you, too! Let’s practice Korean while talking about all kinds of fun topics.

Lastly, I majored in design and have experience working at a design agency. If you’re interested in design, illustration, art, AI, or other creative fields, I’d be thrilled to talk about those with you!
