Hi there! I’m Evita—nice to meet you, I'm your future favorite tutor for learning English or Spanish in a practical, fun, and stress-free way. I’m a native Spanish speaker from Costa Rica, to give you an idea of the vibe of the country, here is a picture:

 I am fluent in English (C1 level), have a conversational grasp of Mandarin, and a passion for teaching. When I’m not tutoring, you’ll find me illustrating, crocheting, or diving into heartwarming YA romance novels.

If you’re looking for a supportive space to build confidence, practice naturally, and actually enjoy learning, you’re in the right place!

A bit about me:
I started learning English in kindergarten and have reached a C1 level with a clear American accent and fluent oral expression. Along the way, I’ve helped family members and classmates master tricky grammar, expand their professional vocabulary, and nail presentations. Now, I’m here to guide you with the same care and enthusiasm.

As for Spanish, I’ve worked with beginner teens and adults, helping them develop natural conversation skills in as little as two months. I also have experience teaching kids and teens in line with Costa Rica’s Spanish curriculum—my students love how fun and engaging my lessons are!

Here’s how I can help you:

  • Conversational English/Spanish: Master real-life communication skills with phrases people actually use.
  • TOEFL Preparation: Get strategic, results-driven guidance from someone who’s been there! I’ll share templates, practice materials, and the tips that helped me succeed.
  • Beginner-Friendly Lessons: Learn the basics (or beyond) in a fun, interactive way using videos, games, drawings roleplays, songs, memes, and more!
