ABOUT ME:
Hello! こんにちは！My name is Karen. I have lived in Canada all my life and I am a university student studying towards a Bachelor of Science. I visit Japan almost every year to watch Takarazuka (宝塚の大ファンです！）and I hope to visit all 47 prefectures one day. I love learning new languages and have studied Japanese, Korean, and French- I know firsthand how challenging it can be to learn a new language.
Lessons:
I am a CELTA certified English teacher who can design lessons based on your needs. We can practice speaking in specific situations (like checking in at an airport or ordering coffee at a cafe) and I will help improve your pronunciation as well as increase your vocabulary. We can also work on reading English texts at a faster pace while checking for your understanding and giving you tips on improving your reading skills.
All levels are welcome!
