I am a dedicated and driven TEFL teacher from the UK.
With the help of my CELTA, I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for over three years; two years online and one year in the classroom.
I also have a masters degree in Acting therefore I have a good knowledge about accents and how the voice works. I speak with received pronunciation (RP) in my lessons. Learning from a teacher with an RP accent is essential if the student wants to perfect their pronunciation at a faster rate.
Depending on your level and learning gaps, discussions will be conducted as well as revision of grammar and vocabulary to improve your speaking skills. Homework can be set to continue your learning outside of lessons.
In addition to grammar and vocabulary, I do a lot of pronunciation and enunciation exercises with my students. My attention to detail is very strong therefore I will correct your pronunciation a lot.
I am passionate about nutrition, wellness, nature and fitness. Other personal topics of interest include spirituality and astrology. It would be helpful that students have similar interests as being on the same wave length as your teacher builds a stronger rapport with them.
