Hello, I am Yo.
I have been practicing yoga for about 20 years and I am a certified RYT200 instructor with the Yoga Alliance.
I mainly offer gentle and restrative yoga classes for people who:
・get tired easily
・feel unsure about their phisical strength
・are seniors or older adults
・want to move safely and confortably
Through regular yoga practice, you may notice improvements in your core strength, postue, walking, breathing, and even how your body feels in daily life.
At YO.yoga, I value:
・practicing without pushing too hard
・safety and comfort
・adapting to your physical and mental condition each day
・chair yoga and pose modificastions
You may feel:
"I'm not flexible enough."
"I'm worried because I haven't exercised in a long time."
That is completely okay.
In fact, those are exactly the kinds of students I warmly welcome.
I can adjust lessons for beginners, beginner-to-intermediate students, and experienced practitioners as well.
Even students who would like to practice Sirsasana (Headstand) are welcome.
I truly value every encounter with each students.
I am still a yoga practitioner myself, and my learing journey continues every day.
Just as every person has a different face and personality, and just as the weather is not sunny every day, our bodies and minds change from day to day.
In my lessons, my motto is:
safe, comfortable, and gentle practice without strain.
Classes are currently available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and weekends.

I love traveling with the people I care about and enjoying delicious food.
On my days off, I like going to the ocean or mountains, taking deep breaths, and relaxing in nature.
It makes my mind feel clear and fefreshed.

One of my farthest trips was Bangor in Wales - almost the other side of the world from Japan!

There are so many beautiful places in the world, and I think that is wonderful.
Recently, I have become very interested in South Korea, and I am slowly studying Korean as well.
I hope we can enojoy yoga together in class!
Yo
