Nice to meet you. I am Arini, a bilingual Japanese-English teacher who has lived in the US for 20 years. I was born in Japan and spent my childhood abroad due to my father's work. I graduated from a university in Tokyo, Japan and after working there for 5 years, I moved to California to study abroad.
I have studied international business and marketing in the US and worked at a local company and some government agencies.
I also taught English and Japanese as a tutor to students studying Japanese at a community college in the US, and at Japanese language schools and online.
My children are currently attending local schools in the US, and I have been awakened to the joys of teaching a language, while trying to raise my kids as a Japanese and English bilingual.
I am currently learning TESOL and how to teach languages as a second language. Also, I am studying for be a certified Japanese language tutor.  I personally love communicating with people and teaching.
I have been teaching Japanese to my foreign mother since I was a child.
I think that was the original experience that made me love teaching.
I would like to convey the fun and joy of learning a language to many people.

[Biography]
Born in Tokyo. After living in Europe and the Middle East, returned to Japan at the age of 7. Graduated from Tsuda University. After working for a trading company in Tokyo for five years, I studied abroad at UC Berkeley alone. I majored in marketing and international business and studied with international students from around the world. I planned to return to Japan in a few months but extended the stay because I wanted to try working in the US. After an internship, employment, and work experience in the US, discovered my passion for teaching through raising her children.

3 years of experience as a Japanese tutor at Community College (Since 2018, 8 university terms, 360 sessions in total, teaching over 1000 students → Students who have attended the sessions have a high repeat rate, and many students attend sessions every day during the semester, so there are times when they attend 50 sessions in one semester! The improvement in the language skills of such students is remarkable, and it makes me realize that "persistence is power")
