Hi my name's Joe

I'm from England and I am a certified English and business English teacher with over 10 years experience. I studied history and business at University and I have a Masters Degree in History from the University of Cambridge, England.
I used to live in London and I previously worked as a business consultant and business operations Director before become a full-time teacher.
When I was 32 years old I left London and moved to Dubai, for a new adventure - Dubai is very different to London! I lived in Dubai for 5 years and really enjoyed my time there.
This year I moved from Dubai to Medellin, Colombia, in South America - people do not speak much English here which makes me happy because I get to improve my Spanish and speak it every day! Medellin is very different from Dubai ... and London ... but I love it here!

My Interests and Hobbies:

I love all sports: I particularly like golf, tennis, sailing, football and skiiing.
I also enjoy reading biograhies and business / leadership books.
I have travelled alot and love to learn about new cultures.

My Cafetalk lessons:

My lessons are professional but interactive and fun and I find it very rewarding when my students show improvements!
My lesson materials focus on speaking. These materials are specialized to improve your confidence and accuracy
During lessons, I will correct your English, and I’ll teach you more natural expressions, including idioms, phrasal verbs, and collocations.
