Hi everybody, my name is Tokyo Meg. I was born and raised in Tokyo, 4 years in the US as a student, and currently live inTokyo as a mom of two small ones. My kids are half British, I am teaching them how to read and write both in Japanese and English everyday which is a part of my job as a mommy! Apart from mommy job, I am also currently teaching Vietnamese, British, Australian, and American students besides from Cafetalk.

Are you living in Japan now, coming to Japan? Or just interested in the culture and want to learn Japanese? I would love to help you learn the language by having fun. “Have fun and learn efficiently” is always my lesson motto. I speak English because it was fun. However, you have no time to wate, so it has to be efficient while you are having fun!

Let me introduce you my background quickly. Proficient in both Japanese and English with experience working at an international advertising agency for 12 years and then Google. I have experiences working closely with both clients and internal staff from other countries, making proposal, localizing/copy check of decks, Emails, and website contents from English to Japanese to make sure it is easy to read for Japanese consumers. I believe I can help you with the many valuable things that you can’t learn from textbooks because of my experiences of previous work! Just talk to me and Let’s get started!
