I’m David, a native British tutor with a clear Southern English accent and over 14 years of experience helping students progress from Beginner to Advanced levels. My teaching journey has taken me across various learning environments, from one-on-one coaching to dynamic online classrooms, where I’ve helped learners of all backgrounds build confidence and fluency.
I hold a Cambridge CELTA certification and have maintained a C2 Proficiency (Cambridge ESOL Level 3) since 2011. Additionally, I have refined my teaching methodology through an intensive TEFL course, equipping me with the skills to adapt lessons to each student’s unique needs. From mastering the basics of phonetics to exploring the advanced nuances of English, I ensure that every session is interactive, engaging, and designed to deliver real-world results.
Beyond teaching, I am also a published author and experienced proofreader, with a keen eye for language precision and clarity. My background in writing and editing allows me to help students refine their communication skills, whether for academic, professional, or personal growth. I am passionate about making English learning both effective and enjoyable, and I take pride in creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel confident to express themselves.
