Hello everyone! My name is Lacey and I am from SanDiego, CA. I have been teaching ESL online now for over three years. My overall student age range is between 8yrs old to as mature as 70yrs old. I truly have a passion for teaching English. And I feel honored to have the opportunity to teach it as a secondary language. I have students from all over the world. From, Japan, to China, to Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and more. I enjoy learning about my students different cultures and traditions.
My teaching experience is very unique and flexible. For I feel every student learns different. Therefore I do lots of learning assessments and revise lesson plans as needed, so each lesson remains very fun, engaging, and fit to each student's learning capability and comfort-bility. And I aim for mastery by focusing on strengenthening each skill set. And by making my student pace of learning a priority! You can feel at ease in my class room.
Teaching is indeed my passion. I feel where there is curiosity the learning never ends. It is such a joy to see my students accomplish there goals of mastering English, as a secondary language. Some of my strengths (skill set) for teaching ESL are (pronunciation, vocabulary, reading comprehension, pace of speaking, listening skills, casual conversation etc. As of righ now, I currently hold a TESOL Certification and I am pending my BA Degree, for Early Childhood Education. I am also a soon to be author.
My favorite hobbies( Writing, crochet, singing, traveling)
