About Me
Hello everyone, I'm Michi!
I am a Chinese-American born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
I'm a happy person with a bubbly personality, who loves to make jokes and talk with others. If you are looking for someone friendly who you can laugh with in a lesson, you found her!
Experience
I worked in an English Conversation School in Osaka, Japan for 1.5 years. There, I taught small group classes and many one-on-one lessons to students from the age of 3 to 81 years! (Wow)
It was a great experience and I want to continue helping Japanese-English learners even from my home.
Please do not worry about making mistakes --I am here to help! I have experience instructing conversational English from absolute beginners to nearly fluent speakers.
I am very familiar with Japanese-English speaking habits. Let me help you speak more naturally!
Teaching Style
My teaching style is conversation focused, for those who want to:
I highly recommend my class for intermediate to advanced level learners.
I am also flexible with my teaching style (for example, if you want to practice for a presentation, learn necessary English for travel, etc), if that is what you prefer.
My goal is to help you become more confident in your speaking, and to help you improve!
