Profilo di Hiromi.I
Xin chào các bạn. (Hello everyone.) My name is Hiromi.
I decided to study Vietnamese after my first rip to Vietnam,
where I was absolutely fascinated by the atmosphere, which eventually
led me to want to learn more about Vietnam.
I actually made friends there and fell in love with Vietnam
even more after living in Hanoi for three and a half years.
After returning to Japan, while raising my child,
I published a book titled “ベトナム こんなとき何て言う (Vietnam: What to say in different situations)” and
am currently studying to translate Vietnamese novels.
Speaking of which, do you think Vietnamese is difficult to learn?
Is it the pronunciation?
I am now able to pronounce Vietnamese well enough to be complimented for it,
but in the beginning, I had to write the words I heard by ear in Katakana
in my notebook, such as “トゥアー (tuah)” or “ホエー (hoay).”
As long as you can grasp the key points of pronunciation, you will be able to communicate with others
even without sounding like a native speaker!
Let’s have fun studying together♪
