【Self Introduction】
I started my career because I loved interacting with children. I am a mother of two myself, and have been involved in many different types of schooling through my children. On Saturdays, I teach Japanese at a supplementary school (a weekend school for children who attend a local or international school during the week). Let’s have fun learning together!
【Teaching Experience】
I have experience teaching in both offline and online formats, as well as in one-on one private lessons and group lessons. I have a total of 6 years of experience in teaching. I can teach children who are learning the abacus for the first time. I have experience teaching students from infants to adults, so I am able to tailor my lessons to the needs of each individual. Would you like to learn the abacus in a fun and fascinating way? Would you like to acquire the unique strengths of the abacus, such as concentration, memorisation, patience, stimulating the right brain and fostering a sense of self-esteem?
In addition to Japanese, I can teach in other languages including English and Chinese. Even if your child is not very good at Japanese, please don’t let that hinder them from trying out my abacus lessons.
【Lesson Style】
My lessons will be taught in accordance with the teaching materials. Please rest at ease even if you are a beginner, as I will carefully guide you through the lesson. If you would like, I can also teach you 9x9 lessons, mental arithmetic lessons, flash maths, and more.
I have experience teaching both children and adults, so I can offer you lessons in the format you prefer, such as one-to-one or group lessons, or any other style you would like.
【Trial lesson】
I offer trial lessons (15 minutes) for 500 points.
【What are you like as a tutor?】
I am a mother and a tutor who loves working with children and does their best to “make learning fun” and “motivational” through the eyes of each student.
【What kind of lessons are you good at?】
I am good at customising lessons to suit each student. Students who struggled to stay seated during their lessons at first, are now participating, with a sparkle in their eyes!
【What do you specialise in?】
I specialise in “abacus,” while also teaching “mental arithmetic,” “flash mental arithmetic” and for younger children, I also teach “multiplication with 9x9.”
