Hey, how are you? I’m Ben (or Benjamin if you prefer), and I’m here to help you feel confident and comfortable speaking English.

I live in South London, you’ll usually find me climbing, surfing, or on a general adventure. I also love exploring different cultures, seeing live music, films and going to the theatre, all of which we can chat about!

 

I’m currently in Taiwan for a few months and have free time to teach you during the day, weekdays and weekends and I also have some availability in the evenings.

 

Learning a language should feel natural and enjoyable. I know how frustrating it can be when apps make you memorize  random words and sentences before you get to the practical things you can use in daily life. That’s why my lessons are different. I want to focus on what you want to learn.

Whether you need English for travel, work, or just everyday conversations, we’ll tailor the lessons to your goals. If you’re starting from the basics, no worries! I offer different classes to suit your needs, and my goal is to make you feel at ease—like you’re chatting with a friend. I can teach you some of the unique, colloquial phrases that only a native British speaker would know. These little language quirks can help you connect with people more easily and make a great impression faster.

Most importantly, this is a judgment-free space. I know firsthand how scary it can be to speak a new language with native speakers but this is your chance to build confidence and practice before using your skills in the real world.
