I’m Liu (劉/刘), a Chinese language tutor whose motto is “pronunciation is everything!”
As a Chinese language tutor, I’ve been involved in teaching the Chinese language in various forms including language schools, corporate training, face-to-face lessons, and online lessons. I’ve taught students ranging from beginners to advanced level learners, covering daily conversations, business Chinese, and catering to a wide range of purposes and skill levels.
Pronunciation is the core of the Chinese language. I provide lessons to help you master accurate and beautiful pronunciation, including pinyin and tones.

I studied nursing in China and later majored in Communication Studies in the Faculty of Literature in Japan.

I currently work as a Chinese language tutor, and I conduct lessons with the hope of supporting learners by applying my academic background and experiences.

「Teaching Style」
I’m not very skilled with using my computer, so I conduct lessons using handwritten notes,
progressing in a simple and easy-to-understand style by showing them through the screen.
When necessary, I may also share materials on screen as we proceed with the lesson.
Though it’s an analog method, I explain each point carefully so you can participate in my lesson with confidence.
I prioritize creating an atmosphere where you don’t feel hesitant about asking questions.
